Important for Success

Please use SPF 50 or cover from sun exposure on the area to be treated for 4 weeks prior to any treatment. This will ensure that your own skin color will not be lightened by removing the skin’s natural pigment (melanin) that darkens with sun exposure.

Any areas with thick hair growth respond best when shaved or clipped very short before treatments.

If you have cold sores, please let us know so that we can offer a prophylactic dose of an antiviral medication to minimize the risk of an outbreak after your treatment.

To minimize discomfort, we recommend women refrain from laser treatments during their monthly period.

Notify us of any known red ink allergy.

Notify us if you have ever been on gold therapy (an older form of treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis).

Important for Healing

Keep all areas (tattoos) covered with Tegaderm for 3-7 days.

Keep all areas moistened with a thick moisturizer until healed or resolved- Aquaphor for tattoos, thick night cream for other treatments.

Avoid soaking until all skin has completely healed.

Avoid sun exposure until all skin is completely healed.
